Grant Description
A Race to an Inclusive Canada provides youth ages 15 to 29 to request grants to create, promote and facilitate programs/events that focus on Diversity and Inclusion within Canada through volunteer service. These programs should focus on but not limited to race, gender, sexual orientation, age, economical and citizenship status. Frontlines is looking to reach and enroll underserved youth, particularly BIPOC youth (Black and Indigenous People of Colour) to help youth build their community into an inclusive Canada.
Grant Guideline
- Applicants must be between the ages of 15-29.
- Applicants must identify as BIPOC (Indigenous and/or Racialized)
- Maximum amount of money granted is 2,800 per applicant
- Project must focus on Diversity and Inclusion.
- Project must either increase civic engagement, support for youth, leadership, life skills and experience for youth along with increasing positive connections in racialized and marginalized communities particularly BIPOC, low-income and newcomer communities. This project must bring awareness of Canadian History and the importance of diversity and inclusion in building an inclusive Canada.
